Frankenstein needs help to unscramble the Halloween words in his monstrous list. This game is harder than it looks, an adult I tested it on had a bit of a hard time, so again I'll give the answers.
(*ahem* don't read if you don't want a spoiler ;-)) The answers to the word scrambles on this puzzle sheet are: haunted, vampire, monster, costume, zombie, spiders, treats and bats.
"Help the Witch unscramble the words inside her crystal ball."
This activity sheet really gets kids thinking, and since it's fun they don't realize that they're also learning to read and write while they play.
Again, this word scramble puzzle might be trickier than it seems, so here's the answers: Halloween, witch, spooky, pumpkin, skeleton, candy, scary and ghost.
This printable word search also has a bit of a twist, instead of simply listing the words to search for, I've used images with spaces beside for each letter in the word to make it a tad easier (that way they know how many letters long.)
As with the rest of these, here's the answers just in case someone gets stuck: vampire, mask, ghost, bats, witch and mummy.
Here's a simple, straight forward word search for you to print out. This one lists the actual words in the search so it's much easier for some people than the ones with the image hints.
